Features and specs
Three different dispensing modes
Manual: Press and hold to dispense. Best for quick jobs where ultimate precision is not needed.
Timer: Press once and the piston will move for a pre-defined amount of time. Higher consistency, requires a few test shots to find the desired amount.
Dot: Press once and the piston will move for a pre-defined distance. Recommended for remote-triggering applications and when the highest precision is needed. Takes longer to setup.
Precise piston control
Fine tuning important settings like speed and retraction (also known as suck back) is the key to prevent undesirable effects like dripping/oozing or inconsistent deposits.
The controller gives you quick, direct access to these and many more parameters for a frustration-free experience.
Custom-machined piston holders
The piston holder is a critical part in the operation of the dispenser. It supports the piston itself and keeps it aligned with the center of the barrel.
Designed for low friction and easy disassembly for piston replacement.
Easy syringe refilling
When filling from a small syringe like 10cc, you can use the included coupler and transfer the required amount without air pockets or bubbles
Air-tight seal for left over material
Once you finish using the dispenser simply remove the motor assembly, then put the top and bottom caps for storage, even in refrigeration. The hermetic seal will prevent drying up for a very long time (for weeks or months depending on material).
For short term storage of a few days you can also leave the dispensing tip in place and plug the end with one of the included rubber caps.
Pick & place mode
In this mode the piston rapidly pulls back when activated creating a small vacuum for a few seconds.
This is enough to pick up small components and even bigger ICs (integrated circuits) with the included suction cup-like accessory.
External trigger input
Both foot and finger switches are available for purchase. This frees up one hand for more comfortable operation.
However you can also use a switch of your own. Read the user guide for schematic drawing and requirements.
UV-blocking syringes available
For dispensing light sensitive material like some UV curing adhesives and resins. Please indicate during checkout how many of the included barrels in your kit should be amber or clear color.
Syringes can be reused
Since the barrels used for the e.dispenser are not being subject to the same abuse as in air-based systems, it’s possible to clean and reuse them many times before starting to see degradation in performance like inconsistent dispensing or leaks in the piston walls. Read the user guide for useful tips on how to do this.
CNC dispensing
Can be connected with external systems like 3D printers or CNC routers for remote operation.
A simple pulse from one of these systems can trigger the controller and start dispensing.
Note: Recommended for advanced users only, read the full user guide for more info.
